ETS / LINDGREN AMS-8050 is a high-power, high-precision electronic test equipment, capable of measuring and validating a variety of electrical signals in the frequency range of 0.1 Hz to 10 MHz. With a high frequency resolution of 0.0001 Hz, ETS AMS-8050 ensures accurate and reliable measurements. It supports a wide range of input gain translation from 100 mV to 20 V, enabling measurements of large signals from over-the-air tests. LINDGREN AMS-8050 uses a dual-state receiver consisting of two counters and a digital signal processing (DSP) core. The first counter is used to determine input frequency, while the second counter is used to measure input magnitude. This dual-state receiver allows for extended signal processing capabilities, including peak detection and filtering. The powerful DSP core can be programmed for additional signal processing tasks, such as channel measurements, signal detection, and pulse manipulation operations. AMS-8050 also provides advanced noise floor analysis and detection capability. This is achieved by measuring the power spectral density of the input signal in order to assess the signal level against the noise floor. The instrument also features a wide dynamic range for sampling input signals, going from -90 dBm to +3 dBm, while the ±1 dB flatness ensures accurate and repeatable results. With its built-in 4002 Universal Interface, ETS / LINDGREN AMS-8050 can be easily connected to different devices such as signal generators, communications units, or oscilloscopes, for seamless integration within a test setup. Furthermore, the instrument is equipped with an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) to simplify the operation for even the most complex measurements.
