TUTTNAUER / BRINKMANN 69120SP-1A is a stainless steel vacuum desiccator designed for use in laboratories. The vacuum desiccator is a versatile and reliable vacuum-tight sealed chamber for drying substances, organic or inorganic. The clear, domed top lifts for easy loading and unloading while the vacuum pump is externally mounted on the base of the chamber. The main features of TUTTNAUER 69120SP-1A include a rugged stainless steel construction, anodized aluminum alloy interior lining and a high-vacuum sealing system to maintain an environment that is free of moisture, air and dust. The vacuum desiccator has a working vacuum of 1-760mmHg (equivalent to creating negative atmospheric pressure of 0.98 bar) and a temperature range of 4 - 60ºC. The chamber can be raised to a maximum temperature of 200°C if a heating element is used. The unit runs on 115V/60Hz and includes an on/off switch along with an adjustment knob to control the desired vacuum level. The vacuum chamber also has an inlet to introduce nitrogen or other inert gas to avoid reach back pressure problems. When powered, TUTTNAUER vacuum desiccator features an interior fan intended to enhance the drying process. The internal fan circulates air evenly within the chamber while removing moisture trapped in the workload. The fan helps to reduce drying times up to three times quicker than previously possible. BRINKMANN 69120SP-1A also includes six adjustable shelves to maximize the storage space inside the chamber. Shelving can be added or repositioned to provide space for varied volume and dimensions of samples. The desiccator also has a transparent door to enable easy viewing of the contents inside. 69120SP-1A vacuum desiccator is a reliable, versatile and compact system that is perfect for preventing sample spoilage, ensuring uniform and reproducible drying and removing residual traces of water. It is ideal for drying sensitive organic or inorganic materials in laboratories, industrial and process control applications.
