WAVE BIOTECH AG Bioreactor is a lab equipment and accessories designed to simulate a wide variety of Bioreactor environments. WAVE BIOTECH AG Bioreactor consists of a vessel, a stirrer, a temperature controller, a pH controller and a headspace gas controller. The vessel has a double-walled construction providing a heat transfer medium to ensure homogenous temperature control. Two industrial grade heating elements are placed at the lower part of the vessel and two more industrial grade cooling elements are placed at the upper part for precise temperature control. The stirrer is mounted on the top side of the vessel which provides an homogeneous composition of the inner broth. Provided with a speed regulation and over-load protection, the stirrer can stir samples at different speed, without disrupting the sample container. Bioreactor has a humidity sensor to measure the relative humidity in the reactor's environment. Furthermore, its pH is monitored by the provided pH controller with a wide pH range and monitoring resolution down to 100mV. It also has a headspace gas controller which ensures the safety pressure value within the vessel is never exceeded. The controller can be adjusted to control the oxygen, carbon dioxide, or nitrogen levels within the reactor. In addition, WAVE BIOTECH AG Bioreactor is complemented by an optional data logging system connected to a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to monitor and adjust the different parameters. The GUI allows for sample curves to be exported to text or CSV format, reducing the time required to compare results with theoretical models.
