PH HYDRAULICS & AUTOMATION 4C is a four-axis CNC machining centre designed for the efficient processing of small work pieces with high precision. It features an ultra-slim column design to enhance access to the fourth axis, and has a 10,000 rpm spindle motor with precision spindles to give excellent surface finishes. 4C is equipped with a high-pressure hydraulic system, providing 35 bar of pressure to maximise the machining performance and also increasing efficiency due to the large-scale operations it can handle. Additionally, it is equipped with an automated spindle and feed rate adaptation, ensuring that the spindle speed can be adjusted to the material being worked, while the feed rate is automatically adjusted to optimise the overall machining performance. PH HYDRAULICS & AUTOMATION 4C consists of a bed and a moving column. On the bed, a manually actuated tilting table is integrated for tilted processing of small and delicate components. The machine's X/Y axis is driven by high torque AC servo-motors, which allow for fast and accurate positioning of the work pieces and faster processing cycles. The Z axis is driven by a DC brushless motor that provides rapid and accurate positioning of the work pieces. The fourth axis is located on the moving column, which is considered the most important feature of 4C. It can be controlled by a PLC, allowing for programming and monitoring of the fourth axis directly from the operator's platform. This axis can rotate both clockwise and counter-clockwise and can be programmed to execute very specialized machining operations.
