CSUN QMO-2DSF is an advanced electrically heated, binderized chamber furnace utilizing rapid (high temperature) heating profile capabilities for brazing, tempering, annealing, and sintering applications. Utilizing a powder coated mild steel frame and standard design platform with a cleanroom-grade stainless steel interior, QMO-2DSF offers superior performance while providing a user-friendly, easy-to-use interface. CSUN QMO-2DSF utilizes two heating elements, one direct and one indirect, for rapid heating rates up to 2500°C with a ±3°C temperature accuracy. The direct element includes four high-powered resistors that are controlled and monitored via a PID controller. The indirect element is placed on top of the chamber and can reach temperatures up to 1300°C. Combined, these elements can provide quick ramp rates and precise setpoints in a controlled atmosphere. The furnace chamber is lined with ceramic fiber insulation and is equipped with an adjustable height refractory shelf. It can accommodate up to 24 samples with a maximum chamber volume of 36 liters.
