HANSEO HS-2900 is a heavy-duty electric furnace capable of meeting the most stringent requirements of industrial production. With a temperature range of up to 2000°F (1093°C), it is well-suited for a variety of heating applications such as annealing, brazing, carburizing, heat treating and metal melting. The furnace is constructed of high-quality materials for maximum durability and efficiency. It features four sides of twin-wall construction for improved temperature distribution and uniformity, as well as a fully-enclosed side panel for added safety. An adjustable air baffle ensures greater control of recirculated air and a robust loss-of-voltage safety system helps to protect the heating elements from overvoltages and power outages. HS-2900 is equipped with two sets of independently-controlled independent front and rear heating zones and digital controls with ramping and soaking capability. The built-in temperature programmable logic controller (PLC) allows for precise control of the temperature profile and is capable of recording up to 15 different heat recipes. The PLC also provides an integrated testing mode which allows for uniformity and repeatability testing to be performed in seconds. The furnace is fitted with three levels of insulation, including 1" fiberglass, a 1" ceramic fiber blanket and an airtight vapor seal door. This combination of insulation ensures a high level of energy efficiency and accuracy. It also comes with a hard-surface refractory hearth capable of holding up to four 500-pound (680-kg) loads, adjustable air supply rate and forced cooling fans for efficient cooling. To ensure safe operation, HANSEO HS-2900 comes with a range of safety features including emergency stops, limit switches, built-in temperature sensors and an emergency off override switch. The furnace is also designed to accept up to two external thermocouples for monitoring and recording temperatures of multiple furnace zones.
