MTH 30 is a liquid photoresist equipment developed and produced by MicroChem Corporation. It consists of a proprietary, aqueous-based, phenol-formaldehyde photoinitiator and a broad range of liquid photoresist resins. 30 system is formulated to provide higher resolution, improved adhesion and greater resistance to chemicals. MTH 30 photoresist unit is used in photolithography, a process of transferring pattern via light and chemistry. It is primarily used to fabricate printed circuit boards and photomasks. Once the photoresist is applied, and solvent removed, the photosensitive film is then exposed to light of particular strength and wavelength. Light exposure activates the photo initiator, which forms reactive intermediates from the formulated resins. These reactive species cause a change in the solubility of the photoresist. After the light exposure, the photoresist is developed with appropriate solvent to remove unexposed photoresist and reveal a patterned surface. The advantages of 30 photoresist machine are its ability to create small and reproducible patterns, with resolution down to 10 microns. The tool also has excellent resistance to common developer solutions and excellent stability for long shelf-life. It offers good adhesion to clean substrates and good manufacturability with a low cost per wafer. Additionally, MTH 30 photoresist asset is easy to clean up and compatible with many organic solvents, so it is well suited for a variety of electronic, optoelectronic and other related applications. In summary, 30 is a high-performance photoresist model developed and produced by MicroChem Corporation. It is formulated to provide higher resolution, improved adhesion and greater resistance to chemicals. It is used in photolithography and has many advantages like improved resolution, excellent durability and compatibility with many organic solvents.
