CASCADE MICROTECH / ALESSI PA 200 BlueRay Prober is a self-contained machine for probing integrated circuits (ICs) at the single IC and multi-site levels. It features a self-centering chuck that can accommodate many common IC packages and sizes, from MLF and SOIC chips to custom-built IC chip carriers. The machine is equipped with a 200 mm Dia/160 mm High vibratome-style chuck that is actuated by an XYZ closed-loop stage that offers ultra-high accuracy and repeatability (±2 μm). The prober can accommodate up to 12 stages and is capable of delivering up to 500 μm/sec probing speeds with a minimum controllable resolution of 1 μm.
