LEYBOLD HERAEUS D65B is a powerful and efficient rotary vane vacuum pump from Germany. LEYBOLD HERAEUS D65 B is a two-stage rotary vane pump with intrinsic gas ballast, designed for direct coupling to electric motors. It is ruggedly built and is capable of pumping down to 6 mbar(abs). It comes equipped with exhaust moisture separator, an anti-sucking back device and a dual filter to protect the pump from external contaminants. This pump offers a maximum approximate pumping speed of 32.8 m3/h, a maximum inlet pressure of 840 mbar, and a water-cooled, end-of-life exclusion of up to 10 kg/h. The rotary vane design of D65B is based on the proven Heidenhain principle, where a single-blown rotor is sealed against an annular chamber wall against which vanes rotate on individual roller bearings. The rotational speed of the rotor is sufficient to create a dynamic suction of the gas and aerosol particles in the pump inlet into the pumping chamber according to the Bernoulli's principle. Both gasoline and liquid can be used as the working medium. In addition, a gas ballast with interleaved rinses or flush may be employed. D65 B has some unique features, including a gas purge to speed up the vacuum cycle by eliminating atmospheric air from the pump interior prior to start-up. It also has an internal lubrication system to reduce wear on parts and increase efficiency and stability of the pump during continuous operation. Moreover, a gland-sealing option and a wide range of voltages and motor speeds are available upon request for even more efficient operation. LEYBOLD HERAEUS D65B is a reliable and durable vacuum pump suitable for industrial and laboratory applications. The pump is quite user friendly and requires minimal set-up time and maintenance. It is therefore an ideal choice for laboratories seeking an efficient and robust vacuum pump for use in a wide range of research projects.
