DNS / DAINIPPON LA-820 is a rapid thermal processor (RTP), which is a type of device used in the fabrication of semiconductor devices. DNS LA820 is designed to rapidly heat dies (a wafer with an integrated circuit) to a high temperature, and then cool them back down quickly, thereby quickly creating the circuitry on the chip. DAINIPPON LA 820 is designed specifically to handle 6" wafer dies quickly and efficiently. It features three heaters, each with twelve rods that can individually be controlled to produce an even, accurate heating process throughout the entire wafer. LA 820 also features an advanced mixing nozzle which permits fine adjustment of the air flow rate. This helps evenly heat the wafer to create the integrated circuit design. To ensure accurate temperature control, DAINIPPON LA-820 is equipped with an embedded thermal imaging system and a thermal history device. DNS / DAINIPPON LA 820 also features a built-in laser system which tracks its position to ensure that the design on each die is accurately placed. This allows the device to precisely place each individual die in order to create the integrated circuit pattern. The laser system is also programmed to enable rapid laser etching on each die. This allows the integrated circuit design to be properly instilled in every die. In addition to its design features, DAINIPPON LA820 is designed to provide a higher rate of throughput compared to other rapid thermal processors on the market. This means that the device is able to process a much larger number of wafers in a shorter period of time, greatly reducing the time required to produce a functioning integrated circuit. LA820 is a valuable asset for semiconductor manufacturers who need to quickly and accurately create integrated circuits. Its design features ensure that high-quality dies can be produced quickly and efficiently, greatly increasing the speed of the semiconductor production process.
