Protocol Analyzer.
ASTRO VA 1809A is a residual gas analyzer (RGA) that uses a quadrupole mass spectrometer to analyze residual gases in a vacuum environment. It measures oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and other gas species with an ultra-high vacuum (UHV) accuracy of 1 part per billion (ppb), and is designed for advanced research and development. VA 1809A uses a triple-focusing quadrupole mass spectrometer to ionize gas molecules in the sample chamber, and then separates and counts the ions according to their mass-to-charge ratios. The device operates by ions formed via electron impact ionization and is able to detect a wide range of gas species over a mass range of 1 - 200 (atomic mass units) with a resolution of < 0.03% full-scale (FS). Its ultra-high vacuum accuracy ensures that the acquired data is highly accurate, providing precise information about the gas composition of a chamber or system. A built-in data port allows for remote access of the analysis results and also enables connection to a PC or other computer systems. The large-size LCD display and front-panel keypad of the unit provide an easy user interface for operating the device and displaying the acquired data. ASTRO VA 1809A also features internal storage that can store up to 128 mass spectra taken during analysis. With its advanced features and exceptional accuracy, VA 1809A is a highly efficient and optimised RGA instrument, designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding research and industrial environments.
