The CAE Story
Capital Asset Exchange and Trading, LLC, was formed in 2008 to build the world's marketplace for secondary capital equipment.
Today, CAE is the largest capital equipment marketplace in the world, tracking approximately 80,000 pieces of equipment, 85,000 equipment requirements, and completing 2,200 transactions each year across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Joining CAE from the global private equity firm Summit Partners, CEO Ryan Jacob brought to CAE the vision of building a global platform that organized the secondary capital equipment markets, creating a singular, centralized platform through which buyers and sellers can purchase and sell effectively. CAE's focus on building technology and a process driven by an informational approach has led to dramatic and consistent growth historically. Since 2008, CAE has grown from 8 to 75 people, and CAE's revenue has increased from $1 million to $100 million annually. With 2,200 equipment transactions completed in 2011, CAE has become the largest buyer and seller of secondary capital equipment in the world.
As a rapid growth company, CAE hires with the hope, and tradition, of rapidly promoting intelligent, results-driven professionals. CAE hires first rate candidates from leading Bachelor, MBA, and JD programs at top Universities to join its Trading, Settlement, Data Acquisition and Analytics, Legal, Recruiting, and Finance Departments.
Of the 400 applicants the firm receives on a weekly basis, CAE selects approximately 1% to join our team.
