AE PEⅡ10K is a hot-plate batch processing etcher that can process up to 10,000 substrates at one time. The etcher has three independent stations, each of which is equipped with multiple wave soldering and etching stages. Its advanced PZT (piezoelectric) controlled dispenser is equipped with electrical and thermal controllers for precise temperature and humidity control. The equipment makes use of computer-controlled ultrasonic and atomizer etching processes to ensure high quality etched patterns on a variety of substrates. The etcher offers a wide range of processing capabilities, such as etching of print boards, glass, printed circuit boards, ceramic substrates, and a variety of metals. The system can etch on both sides of a substrate with a selective laser etching (SLA) unit, and with its advanced process monitoring machine, users can etch with precision and time-based accuracy. The etcher is also capable of being linked to a computer or other compatible device to allow users to create custom etching patterns and etching programs. When etching, the tool's PZT dispense valve ensures even distribution of the etching solution on the substrate, providing for consistent etching results. The asset also offers a variety of etching parameters - such as speed, temperature, pressure, time and etch rate - that are easily adjustable by an operator. The model has two modes of operation - continuous and batch. In continuous mode, materials are fed through the equipment one at a time and processes are controlled through the touch screen, while in batch mode, the system operates like a conventional etcher with a manual operation. With its efficient and intuitive operation, PEⅡ10K is capable of meeting small and large batch etching needs with precision and accuracy, even on complex substrates. The etcher is able to work with many materials, including plastics, ceramics, metals, and glass. With its durable construction, the etcher is designed for highly demanding etching applications and is one of the most reliable systems in its class.
