SONOSCAN D-6000 is a high-performance acoustic microscope used for imaging sensitive electronic components and materials with low acoustic losses. SONOSCAN D 6000 builds on the capabilities of SONOSCAN previous acoustic microscopy systems, providing improved resolution and contrast, enhanced vibration immunity, thinner sample probe technology, and improved data acquisition speeds. D-6000 utilizes high-resolution quartz transducers and piezoelectric materials to generate and receive acoustic signals. These signals are then processed by D 6000's onboard digital signal processing (DSP) unit to create high-resolution images of the sample. The system is also equipped with an automated scan control system, which quickly and accurately measures areas of interest. Outfitted with advanced micro-focus optics, SONOSCAN D-6000 offers resolution down to 2 μm and contrast ratios as high as 36 dB. This allows users to gain insight into a variety of microscopic features such as fill of contact rings, voids and other flaws in integrated circuits, and density/integrity of solder joints. SONOSCAN D 6000 is also capable of producing stack images from variably heterogeneous materials, revealing acoustic properties of the samples. D-6000 features a variety of analysis options for users to choose from, including the Pulse Inversion (PI) imaging technique and Coda-Dot Phase Detection (CDPD) functionality for identifying acoustic defects. Additionally, the system includes a unique Noise Source Identifier (NSI) algorithm for separating signal from noise. D 6000's interactive imaging mode provides a 360-degree view of the studies sample, allowing users to quickly identify and isolate problem areas. SONOSCAN D-6000 provides users with a comprehensive suite of acoustic imaging solutions that enable them to confidently assess materials like never before. With its high resolution and contrast, powerful analysis options, and interactive imaging abilities, SONOSCAN D 6000 ensures users can make well-informed decisions about their samples.
