AIRVAC / ZEVAC Onyx 29 is a state-of-the-art pc board assembly and manufacturing equipment designed for automated production of multi-layer pc boards. The system consists of several modules and components, including a high-speed automated placement head, indexers, a programmable pedestal, a flipside pattern router, a high-volume batch router, and a manual placement head. The placement head can place up to 6,000 components per hour with an accuracy of up to ±0.100mm for single-layer boards and ±0.050mm for multi-layer. It has two built-in soldering units—a wetting profiler and an infrared heater—which allows it to solder components quickly and precisely. The indexers accurately and rapidly position pc board panels during placement. The programmable pedestal features a cantilever tooling unit and is adjustable in height and pitch. It enables fast and precise alignment of the parts on the pc board and allows for a wide range of component sizes. The flipside pattern router has a compact and ergonomic design and is equipped with a low-level laser sensor which ensures accurate routing of fine pitch components. It is capable of routing at speeds up to 1.8 million cuts per hour. The high-volume batch router is an automated, fully enclosed, and dust-proof machine used for parallel routing applications. It is capable of routing at speeds up to 9 million cuts per hour. The manual placement head is designed for use in workloads that require maximum precision and precision assembly of fine-pitch components. It is capable of placing up to 1,000 components per hour with an accuracy of up to ±0.005mm. In addition to its modules and components, ZEVAC Onyx 29 also features multiple connectivity options including USB, Ethernet, and FPGA compatible interfaces which enable users to easily integrate the machine into existing production networks. The tool also has a comprehensive set of safety features including an emergency stop amble and a non-operational safety mode. The automated out-of-the box startup feature allows operators to quickly and easily configure the setup parameters for best performance. Overall, AIRVAC Onyx 29 is a PC board assembly and manufacturing asset that provides users with an advanced, cost-effective, flexible, and reliable solution for a wide range of production needs. With its high-speed automation, precision components placement, and multiple connectivity options, Onyx 29 is the perfect choice for companies looking to reduce assembly and manufacturing costs.
