ACCRETECH / TSK AFP-210A prober is an advanced probing equipment used for inspecting any and all types of devices, from integrated circuits to multilayers. This system features a high-precision XY stages for accurate placement, alignment, and probing of materials. The XY stages are driven by a feedback loop control unit, ensuring that the machine is accurate and repeatable for high-precision results. The externally maintained temperatures help to reduce thermal drift, thus further increasing accuracy and repeatability. TSK AFP-210A utilizes air bearings on both its X and Y axes, allowing for minimum normal force on the samples. The air bearings use compressed air to enabling probing surfaces with minimum rubbing and zero friction. This is an extremely important feature, as it prevents any damage that could occur due to direct contact of the probe with the surface of the device. ACCRETECH A-FP-210A also offers a tapered pin-type probe, which is designed to be resistant against static electricity for high-reliability results. The resolution of the X and Y axes is 1 μm and 5 μm, respectively. The maximum probing range for the X and Y axes is 50 mm and 100 mm, respectively. The contact force of the probe is adjustable from 1 mN to 9.9 mN, with a probing speed of 250 mm/sec. TSK A-FP-210A is able to detect and distinguish between various probes, making it suitable for environments where multiple probes are used. Computer aided design (CAD) is supported and can be used to define the probing area. Accumulated data including measurements, photos and videos are all stored in the tool. External data storage devices such as USB flash drives or data carriers can also be used to store the data.
