Impurity analysis in cylinder gas (H2, CO2, CH4, CO, N2,O2, H2O).
GOW-MAC 816 is a Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA) designed to address the measurement requirements for ultra-high vacuum and low-pressure gas applications. It is capable of performing measurements at pressures as low as 10-10 or 10-11 torr with high sensitivity and repeatability. 816 utilizes a proprietary Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) technique to measure the partial pressure of gases in a vacuum environment. The QCM works by inducing a quartz crystal to oscillate at its resonant frequency when exposed to the gas and measuring the resulting frequency shift. Since the frequency shift is proportional to the number of molecules adsorbed on the quartz surface the frequency shift is used to calculate the corresponding pressure and composition of the gas present. The design of the GOW-MACK GOW-MAC 816 provides a compact, highly stable system and offers a variety of useful analytical tools such as pressure level scanning, pressure monitoring, hydrogen diagnostics, and fragmentation analysis. The system is highly sensitive and is capable of detecting moisture in the pressure range of 10-10 to 10-6 torr. Additionally, the system has the ability to simultaneously measure up to four gases, including Noble gases, H2, N2, O2, and others. The GOW-MACK 816 includes powerful data-acquisition software that can be customized to simplify and enhance the users' analytical procedures. The software allows the user to set various parameters such as data sampling rate, scan speed, peak selection, resolution, and scan range. The data can also be easily stored and managed in the Software Operating Console (SOC). In summary the GOW-MACK GOW-MAC 816 is the perfect vacuum tool for a wide range of measurement requirements. Its QCM technology provides a highly accurate method of measuring ultra-low pressures and the powerful data-acquisition software allows the user to accurately control the parameters of their analysis.
