TOYO 8252B is a scribing & dicing equipment that combines the best of both worlds - efficiency & precision. This powerful system is designed to cut materials such as quartz, glass, glass ceramic and other high-end materials with unparalleled accuracy. Using an ultra-precise three-step process, the unit helps boost productivity and reduce costs. The first step in the scribing & dicing process is the scribing. This is done by using a laser beam to score extremely precise lines into the material. This process is sensitive to the material's thickness and dopant type, allowing the machine to be tailored to the exact material being worked with. For example, for a glass ceramic material with a dopant concentration of 5%, the laser beam can be adjusted to generate a 2μm line width at 1000μm depth. The second, and most important, step is the dicing. This involves using a set of ultra-precise diamond-tipped blades to actually cut the material into its desired size and shape. 8252B tool boasts an impressive driving force of 2000N, which is perfect for cutting hard, brittle materials like quartz. This is possible due to the built-in servo-controlled motor, allowing the instruments to cut with precision and at high speed.
