The plasma in APPLIED MATERIALS Centura DPS is produced within a multitude of processing zones, allowing for the fine tuning of whether ionized adatoms are removed or incorporated in the films, giving the films the desired characteristics. The various processing zones can optimally be adjusted to provide the highest quality film possible, allowing users to choose the appropriate films for each particular application. Centura DPS system is designed to deliver high throughput and excellent uniformity, enabling deposition of films over a large area.
