BOC EDWARDS Auto 306 evaporator is a versatile and durable piece of laboratory equipment utilized for a variety of sample preparation techniques. The evaporator is capable of operation in three distinct modes: rotor-stator homogenizing, vacuum driven evaporation, and nitrogen-driven evaporation. Through this flexibility, BOC EDWARDS Auto 306 is able to perform a variety of laboratory operations, including the quick and efficient evaporation of volatile compounds and oils, the homogenization of antibiotic suspensions, and the sterile concentration of drug products. Auto 306 is equipped with a powerful electric motor that drives a three-blade rotor-stator assembly at adjustable speeds up to 35,000 revolutions per minute. Its digital touch-screen control panel allows for adjustable settings for both speed and vacuum pressure, providing precise control over the homogenization process. Additionally, an external gas inlet allows for the safe and controlled introduction of nitrogen or other inert gases during vacuum processes. BOC EDWARDS Auto 306 is further equipped with a stainless steel jacketed evaporator chamber which is insulated with high-efficiency refractory materials. This chamber can be easily removed and disassembled for easy cleaning and maintenance. Inside the evaporator chamber is an outer chamber that contains a refrigeration system which is precision-calibrated to ensure that the unit will stay at optimal operating temperature.
