ESI 5335 is an industrial, Q-switched, short-pulse, oscillator-amplifier laser equipment designed for industrial laser material processing tasks. It consists of a compact, highly efficient short-pulse Nd:YVO4 laser module, with pulsewidths ranging from 200ns to 25ns, and an output power of up to 2000W. The laser system is equipped with an integrated laser head, containing a laser oscillator, an amplifier, and an harmonic generator, allowing for multiple operation settings. The oscillator consists of an engraving-essential, neodymium-doped vanadate (Nd:YVO4) crystal mounted in a special housing containing a range of highly complex optical components and cooling elements. The laser head is powered by a pair of high-efficiency DC power supplies which ensure optimal power feed to the laser. The oscillator is designed to produce a maximum pulse energy of approximately 200μJ. Its unique design ensures minimal thermal lensing and optimal beam profile even at peak pulse energies. The maximum pulse repetition rate is 100kHz, and the peak pulsewidth is limited to 25ns. To control the laser, the laser unit is equipped with a comprehensive suite of controls to adjust properties such as pulsewidth, repetition rate and power. These, along with the harmonic generator, give the user the ability to customize the laser output for optimum results. The laser machine is capable of producing precision laser materials processing operations including micro-machining of composite materials, cutting, welding and marking of a wide range of materials. It is ideal for the production of precision laser parts, as well as for manufacturing operations such as the creation of seals, welding of miniaturized electronics, and the fabrication of advanced medical devices. The tool also includes an integrated safety asset which includes an external sensing mechanism, emergency stop, machine off mode and software-configurable anti-beam curtain that continuously monitors and analyzes the environment. This laser is certified to meet industrial safety standards such as the International Laser Safety Standard (IEC 60825-1). The model is designed to ensure maximum operational reliability while providing optimum performance, with little to no maintenance.
