CINCINNATI Gilbert is a machine tool designed for high performance, precision machining for many metal and plastic processing applications. It is designed to deliver accuracy, precision, and repeatability in the production of parts for the automotive, aerospace, industrial and medical industries. The machine utilizes a rigid box-way design bed for highcutting speed and accuracy. The bed is supported by a combination of 4-way screw-type cross-roller guideways and Ortho-Support® rail technology to create smooth moving and accurate cutting. The integrated spindle is highly accurate and utilizes a hydrostatic and anti-friction bearing system to reduce vibration. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a 12-station tool changer for quick, automated tool changing. The manual ATC of Gilbert, allows for flexibility when programming and offers a lightweight, lower cost way to manage a high-volume production environment. The machine can be outfitted with a CNC control to automate and assist production processes. An onboard programmable logic controller (PLC) enables the machine to autonomously control production processes, and it also simplifies the integration of the machine with robotics and other automation technologies. As an operator, the manual control of the machine is easy to use. The large color touchscreen provides an intuitive interface to configure all the components for different programming applications. The machine also features an auto tool offset (ATO) system, which evaluates machining programs and automatically sets the working tool position to a pre-defined position, significantly improving tool life and accuracy. In addition, the machine's manual tool offset feature enables operators to manually readjust the working tool position if needed. CINCINNATI Gilbert is a robust, reliable, and precise machine tool designed to meet the demanding needs of many industries. With its advanced control systems, it is capable of producing high-quality parts with greater efficiency and accuracy than ever before.
