BLUE M POM 588C is an electric convection oven / furnace with a high powered heating chamber, capable of reaching 2000°F. It has a built-in NIST-traceable digital thermocouple thermometer (with two probes) that accurately measures heat, adjustable lofted air draft, and spring-loaded fasteners to secure the door in place when closed. The hot face is protected by a thick cast-iron door, which is protected against oxidation. The oven's chamber is constructed of a 16 gauge sheet steel and has been highly insulated to retain heat efficiently. The sides and top of the chamber interior are lined with insulating panels for thermal protection. The heating elements are contained in a 7.5" tower mounted on one wall of the chamber.
