AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT 3070 Series II is a full-featured "PC Board Test" equipment used for quick and reliable testing of printed circuit boards. The tester provides four fully-configurable test resources: programmable power supplies, digital I/O, analog I/O, and dedicated target resources. The power supplies offer programmable output voltages and combinations, as well as battery-powered options for continuous output voltage monitoring and battery testing. Inputs to the test vectors are generated from enable and disable inputs, scan control sequences, and logic inputs. Outputs are easily routed to the unit's multiple output levels, providing highly adaptable and accurate test vector timing. All I/O signals are monitored with multi-channel scanning, and results are immediately reported and analyzed. The digital I/O of HP 3070 Series II includes both TTL and common low voltage logic, ensuring compatibility with many different component types. The I/O signals are protected from ESD, and feature latch and power-on reset (POR). External dynamic sources and sweep-controlled sources can be utilized to provide additional flexibility when creating test vectors. The analog I/O includes a highly sophisticated digital-to-analog (D/A) converter and an analog-to-digital (A/D) converter enhanced signal performance and reliable testing results. The Series II is designed for use in both board troubleshooting and system-level testing. Additionally, up to four of the unit's outputs can be routed to dedicated scan-controlled target systems, such as memory, EPROMs, DRAMs, PALs, GALs, and other complex ICs. This reduces step time complexity and provides more efficient troubleshooting.
