EDWARDS 306 is an evaporator designed for performance and reliability in a wide range of industrial and laboratory applications. 306 evaporator is constructed of 316L stainless steel and stainless steel components, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability. It utilizes a combination of technologies, including helical grooved coil cooling and free-fall direct eject condensers, to provide optimum cooling performance and efficiency. The 304SS Helical Grooved Coil (HGC) condenser provides maximum thermal efficiency by taking advantage of the counterflow refrigerant and water flow pattern. EDWARDS 306 utilizes a multi-stage condenser design with a free-fall direct eject condenser to further increase the thermal efficiency and cooling capacity. 306 features a large condensing area and volumetric capacity to accommodate higher volume/pressure conditions. EDWARDS 306 also utilizes an innovative aqueous-based evaporator designed for quick cooling. This evaporator utilizes a combination of jet impingement technology, spray cooling, and air-gap heat exchange. The jet impingement technology offers quick initiation of evaporator cooling and allowing for higher levels of thermal transfer. The spray cooling method uses specially designed nozzles to create a water spray that maximizes evaporator efficiency and cooling performance.
