Summary

As a System Administrator, you will respond to routine users hardware/software complications and/or questions. We are looking for an energetic problem solver who is committed to achieving the desired outcomes by any means necessary. This individual should be a self-starter, highly motivated, and eager to add value to a rapidly growing company. 

MAIN DUTIES

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance in-person, over the phone or email
  • Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
  • Create accounts and configure hardware as part of employee on-boarding process
  • Support and take ownership of managing our mobile phones/devices
  • Manage and monitor internal assets throughout device lifecycle to ensure accurate inventory records
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on IT systems, processes, and procedures
  • Collaborate with IT operations in the United States and Hungary
  • Other duties may be added or assigned as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Microsoft Office applications and Office 365
  • Active Directory administration, Windows/Linux Server basics
  • Networking basics: Client PC connectivity, TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi
  • Troubleshooting issues with major web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer
  • Deep knowledge of major mobile devices: Google Android, Apple iOS
  • Proficiency in English
  • 2+ years of End User Support experience in a Windows environment
  • Ability to work with users of various levels of computer knowledge
  • Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical organization skills with an established record of providing outstanding service
  • Proactive, problem solving attitude
