ASM Eagle Xtreme is a state-of-the-art bonder designed for precision micro-joining of hard materials. Featuring a patented Set & Go® technology, ASM EAGLE X-TREME bonds metals, ceramics, plastics, and glass at a level of accuracy and repeatability unmatched by any other bonder. Eagle Xtreme features a high-torque brushless portable motor capable of providing up to 25 Watts of bonding power, allowing for precision micro-joining of materials. The motor is connected to a computer console via Ethernet which provides a graphical user interface that allows the user to easily and accurately set the parameters needed for a successful bond. The machine is also equipped with a pressure transducer that measures adhesive surface contact pressure and a heated vacuum manifold that holds up to 4 heated workstations. The vacuum manifold facilitates the adhesion of fragile components, allowing them to be held in place during the bonding process. The heated workstations are adjustable and allow the user to raise the temperature of the substrates up to 120 degrees Celsius. To ensure that the materials are bonded properly, EAGLE X-TREME is equipped with an advanced optics system which allows for precision placement of work pieces to the bonding area. It also has unique "CirrCorp-Safe®" technology which monitors the temperature, pressure, and environment during the bonding process, making sure that all parameters are outside of the product's limits before it can be shipped. ASM Eagle Xtreme is designed to work with a wide variety of substrates, including metals, ceramics, plastics and glass. It can be easily coupled with the Eagle Clear® rapid cure system which provides fast, reliable results without added emissions. ASM EAGLE X-TREME is also compatible with the Eagle Pulse® thermal management system which offers a number of value-added benefits, such as cost reduction, energy savings, quality improvement, and increased productivity.
