ASM Harrier is a compact, all-in-one, self-priming, adhesive bonding equipment. It is designed for a wide range of applications—from small-scale industrial to large-scale commercial. Harrier features a simple, four-layer bonding process - surface treatment, adhesive application, joining and curing - that can be completed within minutes. By changing the binary valve, the same machine can handle practically any adhesive, including two-component epoxy, hot melt adhesives, thermoplastic adhesives, and high-temperature, pressure-sensitive adhesives. ASM Harrier's advanced design features two adjustable bonding heads that are powered by a pneumatic or electric drive and servo-controlled by an intuitive LCD touchscreen. This allows personnel to adjust the speed and bonding pressure for precise application, as well as adjust temperature to suit the technology and material being used. The three temperature settings (up to 40°C) ensures bonding points remain consistent regardless of input. The ergonomically designed Harrier comes with a high-torque stepper motor, allowing for up to 400mm/minute of movement, with an optional linear drive for heavier bonded objects. The product's 'low-spill' design stops any spillage of adhesive from the surrounding area, which makes the system suitable for clean-room working environments. In addition, the unit is fully programmable, with operators able to store up to 30 programs. The machine can be linked with a Material Supply Tool to provide a continuous feed of adhesive and to oil-free air sources. Safety features of ASM Harrier include an emergency stop button, a fail-safe mode that automatically shuts down the asset after 30 seconds of inactivity, and a range of integrated sensors to detect obstacles or blockages. An optional video camera records images of the bonding process, and uploaded images can be sorted and stored on the model's memory card. This allows the user to monitor and record the bonding process in real time. The rugged and reliable Harrier is backed by a three-year warranty.
