BREWER SCIENCE 1300CSX is a precision bonder designed for microelectronics production and component testing. This tool offers precise temperature control, excellent performance, and high throughput. 1300CSX bonder features an easy-to-use intuitive graphical user interface to allow for simplified program development. The equipment has two independently controlled zones that permit hot bar attachment and reflow processes. The heated platen has a programmable temperature range from 0° C to 410° C and a heating rate of up to 30° C per second. An integral optical system provides multiple viewing modes for precise viewing of solder joints. BREWER SCIENCE 1300CSX is designed for precise component placement and features a glass liner vacuum chuck that permits multi-level substrate handling and component placement. The precision vacuum unit is lubricated with static-free air spring cells to minimize adhesion buildup potential. An integral force monitoring machine provides real-time feedback on placement force during component placement. 1300CSX includes high-performance stereo imaging capabilities and provides excellent directional placement accuracy. Additionally, advanced electroformed nozzles offer versatile material handling and feature automatic nozzle recognition. For maximum process security, the tool includes an integrated Residual Resistivity Meter (RRM) to detect critical process parameters including resistivity, insulation, and conductivity on outgoing solder joints. As a result, the asset is ideally suited for a wide range of microelectronics production, including the manufacture of high-performance semiconductor systems and ultrafine components. In addition, BREWER SCIENCE 1300CSX bonder features integrated statistical process control (SPC) for process control verification. To enhance process reproducibility, the model also features diagnostic reaction mode and process monitoring. Lastly, the equipment is designed for easy maintenance and features built-in self-service tools, filters, and exhaustion options.
