DAGE 4000 Plus is a high precision, manual, programmable wire bonder designed for moderate to high volume production of components. The tool is capable of achieving exact bond positioning on a wide variety of packages and semiconductors. The intuitive user interface provides access to all the features, settings and information needed to carry out high precision bonding. The connection from the bonder to the computer system is easy and fast, allowing multiple wires to be connected in rapid sequence. A built-in program library enables quick changes from one product to another. A 16-bit microprocessor with 128MB of memory ensures high speed and accuracy. 4000 Plus can bond a wide range of materials including Gold, Aluminum, Copper, Silver, and Aluminum Alloy. This tool comes with different options that allow the user to refine the bonding process, such as the standard Drive, Fine Drive, and Combination modes. These different drive modes allow for fine electrical control over the contact force, wire length, and energy applied. DAGE 4000 Plus is also equipped with a depth sensing microscope with a 5.7" screen. This Integrated Vision System (IVS) offers high-resolution images of the bond before, during, and after bonding for precise positioning of the wire in the package. An optional magnifying lens can be added to the IVS for even greater accuracy. 4000 Plus also incorporates an interesting design feature, allowing for small parts to be handled with ease. Dual tape feeders and optional tray attach easily to the base of the machine, providing the ability to feed multiple posts simultaneously. The tape feeders are especially useful when working with bigger packages and have adjustable settings to help reduce material waste.
