Refrigerated centrifuge.
SORVALL RC 5C Plus centrifuge is a refrigerated, high-speed centrifuge designed to provide the highest degree of performance in separating suspended particles in aqueous mixtures. Featuring a powerful drive motor, brushless frequency control, and a strong frame construction, SORVALL RC-5C PLUS can reach speeds up to 30,000 revolutions per minute (rpm) and is capable of accommodating up to 8 liters of material, depending on the rotor selection. Additionally, this centrifuge is suitable for high-density or difficult-to-separate particles. RC 5C Plus offers a choice of four maximum speed levels for users to select from, ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 rpm depending on the rotor type. For temperature management, the centrifuge is equipped with a fully programmable cooling system. This powerful cooling system can reduce the temperature of the rotor shaft and motor windings to -15°C, ensuring that the centrifuge remains safe and reliable during operation. RC-5C PLUS is equipped with a monitoring system to track the progress of the centrifugation process. This feature allows users to track the rpms, time, temperature, balance, and acceleration/deceleration rate directly from the centrifuge. A digital pulse detector is also included to help monitor sample torque and performance, allowing users to statically balance the rotor to get the most out of their centrifugation sessions. SORVALL RC 5C Plus is built with a rugged steel housing that is corrosion-resistant, and is equipped with an enhanced acoustic design to reduce noise levels so that laboratory personnel can concentrate during set-up, operation, and monitoring. In addition, the centrifuge includes a user-friendly control panel for convenient access to rotor and other centrifugation parameters. Together, SORVALL RC-5C PLUS centrifuge provides a secure, reliable, and user-friendly platform for users to optimize centrifugation results.
