GRANDWAY FHP2A02 is a chiller-recirculating type heat exchanger that combines convective, conductive and radiation cooling technologies to facilitate the transfer of heat from one medium to another. FHP2A02 is designed to be used in commercial and industrial applications where high cooling capacities are needed, such as cooling equipment rooms, process equipment, M2M, or vocation cooling. GRANDWAY FHP2A02 is driven by a fan forced electric motor, and is made up of a series of rectangular sections with finned evaporator tubes attached to it. The inlets of the evaporator tubes are connected to a cold storage unit to supply the cooling fluid, which is then heated upon passing through the finned evaporator tubes. Heat is then radiated off of the evaporator tubes, and is collected in the outlet of FHP2A02. The cooled fluid passes through the outlets of the tubes and is then routed back to the inlet of the evaporator tubes to allow for continued cooling. In addition to the heat transfer process provided by the finned evaporator tubes, GRANDWAY FHP2A02 also contains an embedded coil of copper which serves as a radiation cooling component. This embedded coil works to reject the remaining energy generated by the cooling process, and is designed to decrease the power consumption and increase the cooling capacity of the unit. It also increases the overall efficiency of FHP2A02 by up to 20%. Additionally, GRANDWAY FHP2A02 is constructed with a stainless steel cabinet, which provides durability and protects against environmental corrosion and rust. FHP2A02 has an optimal operational temperature that ranges from 28 to 41°F. It is capable of delivering cooling capacities up to 1.5 tons, which can be regulated using a mechanical thermostat and a carbon monoxide safety bypass. The unit is also equipped with an automatic defrost system, which removes any buildups of ice that may occur during the cooling process.
