NESLAB RTE-111 is a recirculating chiller designed primarily for cold-room temperature stability or laboratory applications requiring a precise temperature control. It's designed for continuous operation from 20°C to 40°C (-4°F to 104°F). With its environmental protection classifications of ADAO, C1, and UL508A, NESLAB RTE111 has the highest ambient operational temperature range of any recirculating water chiller. One advantage of RTE 111 is its efficient thermoelectric and compressor- based cooling system, allowing for a very low noise level that reaches 35 dB(A). This low noise level is possible due to the chiller's efficient and silent compressor and electronically-controlled fans. Furthermore, this chiller is equipped with several service/safety features, such as a thermal protection circuit breaker, low fluid level warning, low flow switch, a replaceable HEPA filter, and a visual indication of chiller operation (LEDs). The chiller includes a unique heat exchanger design, featuring a counterflow plate-type heat exchanger with fins. This efficient heat exchange allows for the transfer of heat from the return to the reservoir side and ultimately from the chiller to the external environment. This allows for a larger temperature range to operate in, compared to a homogeneous plate-type heat exchanger. In addition, the chiller offers an option with a brazed heat exchanger for operation up to 250°C (480°F). The chiller is also equipped with a high-efficiency, closed-loop control system, enabling it to maintain a very precise temperature stability and accuracy of 1-degree Celsius. This system is integrated with a digital temperature controller and digital process display. RTE-111 chiller is UL and CE approved, enabling it to meet the requirements of most laboratory and industrial applications.
