NTC / KOMATSU PV500FD crystal growing, sawing & slicing equipment is a state-of-the-art tool for machining polycrystalline materials. It incorporates advanced technologies like advances in laser beam aligning and scanning, lead-free soldering, and temperature controlled crystal-slabbing. This device features a built-in diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser that provides high-precision crystals with low loss. The laser has an adjustable range of up to 400 mW and can be used for precise alignment of cut pieces. The system includes a vertically-arranged spindle-type crystal growth stage, enclosed in a separate chamber, and a separate chamber for cutting and slicing. The crystal growth stage features a precise temperature control, 6-axis automation, and a built-in cooling unit. The cutting chamber is built with a high-precision laser beam for cutting and is equipped with a cooling device to reduce thermal stress. The machine also features a unique high-precision automated manual-load slicing tool which can slice wafers of up to 8 inch diameter with an accuracy of 0.5 mm.
