TAKATORI MWS 610 is an automated crystal growing, sawing and slicing equipment designed for high precision material preparation. The system is based on a high precision 3-axis motion control unit embedded in a rugged steel frame and is equipped with an integrated heating and cooling unit for optimal conditions during crystal growing, sawing and slicing operations. The bench top machine is capable of controlled movement up to 1220 mm (X,Y,Z) with a load capacity of up to 800 kg. The machine also provides manual micrometer adjustments along the entire vertical movable equipment axis. TAKATORI MWS-610 is designed to accommodate crystal growth from 10 to 100 mm and grow high quality materials through a unique form of induction heating that eliminates damage to crystal surfaces. An optical pyrometer gives accurate temperature measurements during the process. The machine comes equipped with an advanced crystal inspection tool allowing for precise measurements of crystal parameters such as temperature, incidence angle, refraction, surface orientation, etc. The asset is additionally equipped with an integrated crystal saw. The saw utilizes diamond or silicon carbide blades and is capable of cutting through the crystal with controlled and repeatable speeds and depths. It is also capable of providing the user with supplemental suction support to help with dust and debris collection and capture. An automated slicing model is provided by TAKATORI with MWS 610, allowing for cutting and slicing of a crystal into thin cuts. The slicing process is also assisted by the integrated vacuum equipment to ensure the best possible cut and minimal dust collection.
