HP 3458A features a bandwidth of DC to 8.5 Hz and is capable of measuring and displaying direct current and alternating current magnitude and phase angle. The device is equipped with two user-selectable universal input terminals, allowing it to measure both AC and DC voltages. It also features a programmable resistance element (SRS) which can be used to measure resistors accurately from 10 mΩ to 10 MΩ.
