HP/AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT 3566A Frequency Synthesizer/Sweeper is an electronic test equipment used to generate an adjustable frequency range for communications, radar, and other radio-related signal testing. It is made up of a frequency controller, a frequency synthesizer, and a frequency sweeper. The frequency controller allows the user to specify the frequency range and span. The Frequency Synthesizer produces a signal that can be modified to generate frequency inside the user's specified range. The Frequency Sweeper is used to sweep over the desired frequency range and measure the signal level at different points inside the frequency range. AGILENT/HP 3566A Frequency Synthesizer/Sweeper provides a wide range of testing capabilities. It is capable of operating in multiple modes including Frequency sweeper, Frequency hopping, Burst, Subharmonic injection, Automatic sweep, and Exponential sweep. It produces a highly accurate signal with an output range of 0.1 Hz to 8 MHz. KEYSIGHT/AGILENT 3566A is also equipped with a pulse modulation feature which can be used for modulation tests. Additionally, it has an integrated Noise Generator which can be used to add noise to the synthesizer for wider testing applications. HEWLETT-PACKARD/KEYSIGHT 3566A comes with an intuitive GUI that makes it very easy to use. The GUI provides a graphical representation of the signal. It also provides quick access to frequently used features such as saving and loading, modulation options, and system setup. Additionally, it allows users to monitor and store test data using the included RS-232 interface. It can also be controlled remotely through LAN or GPIB.
