AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT 3589A is a 2-channel, high-performance, arbitrary waveform generator designed to provide signal sources for testing digital systems, communication systems, and industrial apparatus. HP 3589A is capable of producing accurate analog waveforms such as sine, triangle, square, as well as arbitrary waveforms which can be generated from a variety of sources such as an internal or external RAM table or a PC-based software application. The device offers an extremely wide output signal range with fine amplitude resolution. AGILENT 3589A is powered by a pair of analog channels which provide true AC signals with a high frequency range, adjustable amplitude and a accurate frequency tuning resolution of 100 Hz. With the built-in waveform programming capabilities users can create customized output signals from low-frequency sine wave signals to high-speed pattern signals. Its low distortion characteristics and wide frequency range capacity enable users to generate complex signals for testing various digital systems. HEWLETT-PACKARD 3589A also provides multiple output modes such as Digital Ramp Generator, Arc Generator, Arbitrary Waveform Generator and Standard Waveform Generator. Additionally, the device is also equipped with a Pulse/pattern SRQ (Service Request) status output which helps streamline data transfer and communication control. 3589A is also provided with a regulated power supply which ensures greater stability during operation. KEYSIGHT 3589A is built with a LCD display which provides information regarding the configuration and performance of the device along with an array of buttons and knobs which are used to control the device operations and menu navigation. The device also includes a variety of advanced features such as an internal counter/timer, a programmable distortion suppressor and a number of analog outputs for synchronizing timing and frequency parameters.
