AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT 44474A is a high-performance, state-of-the-art, versatile electronic test equipment designed to offer a combination of features for diagnostic use, real-time troubleshooting, and performance/capacity measurement of electronic and mechanical systems. The device features multiple functions, including the ability to generate arbitrary waveforms (using either built-in waveform generators or external waveform generators), measure physical signals (including noise pep, spectrum, transient signals, and frequency responses), analyze systems (nonlinear models, linear graphs, phase responses), and analyze system dynamics (modulation, distortion, frequency and pulse pattern measurements). HP 44474A features a 3GHz bandwidth, a 10×24 dot matrix display, multifunction analog and digital signal input and output signals, a direct display of complex or derived signal parameters, six low frequency signal inputs (in both differential and single-ended input configurations) and four RF signal input ports. In addition, the device includes built-in wide band amplifiers, dual-channel mixed signal measurement capability, an oscilloscope-style time and frequency display, and a variety of measurement modes, including to/exception-ratio measurement, through-low frequency measurement, transient analysis measurement, and signal latency. AGILENT 44474A also provides a broadband spectrum analysis capability with a frequency range of up to 40GHz. The device features an extremely wide range of signal parameters, including amplitude, frequency, phase, relative time-delay, and harmonic frequency measurements. Furthermore, it provides frequency accuracy of up to ±0.1 ppm, as well as wide-range logging of data. 44474A has the ability to accommodate hundreds of automated routines to measure its signal parameters. The device also supports programs written in the C programming language and other languages, and it supports an array of real-time capability options, such as automatic event detection, threshold cycles, sequence pattern recognition, as well as a variety of signal analysis tools, and data storage. In addition, it provides support for the execution of signal-conditioning routines from within its graphical user interface. Finally, the device includes a series of other features, such as a measurement scheduler and system calibration procedures.
