With four input channels, two independent timebases and skew triggering, this oscilloscope provides all the features needed to accurately measure complex waveforms quickly and accurately. This digital oscilloscope has a real-time sampling rate of up to 500 million samples per second, full-span horizontal display to 2000 MHz in 1-2-5 steps and a wide variety of automatic measurements to make waveform measurements easier and faster. HP 54510A has an advanced triggering system which provides edge, width, and pattern triggering on all four channels with reset, DELAY , and advanced skew triggering to handle pulses of up to 1500ps in width with 15ps of jitter. The scope also includes advanced signal integrity such as record length up to 10M samples and mask testing with complex stimuli definitions. In addition, AGILENT 54510A offers an isolated analog control interface along with a touch screen operating interface. This scope offers both manual and automatic measurements and full signal acquisition system including the ability to add external instruments through serial, Ethernet, and GPIB interfaces. It also includes a built-in logic analyzer with up to 25M sample buffer that can be used for timing analysis, digital pattern search, and I2C and SPI communication decoding. For data storage and analysis, 54510A is equipped with a built-in data logger and transfer method to a remote computer. An optional PC software extension allows screen shots and animation movies to be stored on a PC for further analysis and manipulation.
