Power sensor module.
AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT 81634A is an optical and electrical performance test solution designed for high-speed fiber network service providers. It can measure optical power and optical loss, analyze optical return loss, and perform eye diagrams to assess electrical performance. This enables service providers to quickly verify that a network connection is providing the correct performance and to quickly detect problems when they arise. HP 81634A test solution consists of two primary components. The first component is the 81610A optical source/measurement unit (OMU). This unit has built-in high-resolution optical power and loss measurement functions, optical return loss testing for optical components and connections, and an integrated eye diagram measurement function. The unit is compliant with industry standards, such as ITU-T for the optical source and optical power measurement ranges. The second component is the 81631A digital communications analyzer (DCA). This unit can measure the electrical performance of the system, including it's eye diagram, bit error rate, noise, rise and fall times, crosstalk and skew, clock recovery, and jitter. It is capable of high-resolution measurements, such as sub-ps resolution using a wide range of pattern lengths and resolution bandwidths. The 81631A also contains built-in test setups designed to make the testing process quicker and more efficient. AGILENT 81634A test solution is designed to meet the needs of fiber network service providers as well as third-party test labs and engineers. It is highly versatile, and can be used to verify and analyze performance of 10GigE, 40GigE, and 100GigE networks. KEYSIGHT 81634A is a complete test solution that eliminates the need for multiple pieces of test equipment, saving time and money. It is rugged and reliable, easy to use, and provides precise results that help ensure that networks are performing at their peak efficiency.
