ID: 142514
Tunable laser source, 1460~1580 nm.
AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT 81680A is a versatile, powerful optical test system that is capable of measuring and analyzing optical signals in the optical fiber-coaxial multiconductor fiber-optic networks. It is also capable of accurately measuring optical signal power, magnitude, and frequency over a wide range of wavelengths and bandwidths. HP 81680A operates in two modes. The first mode is an Optical Modulation Analyzer (OMA) mode, which provides testing of various modulation formats and optical transmission systems. The OMA mode has an Optical Frequency Domain Multiplexing (OFDM) feature, allowing for multiplexing of optical channels up to 512 channels in a single measurement. The second mode is an Optical Wavelength Sweep mode, which provides automated frequency sweeps, allowing for rapid measurements of multiple wavelengths and a variety of optical transmission parameters. This mode can be used for wavelength-dependent DWDM measurements. AGILENT 81680A is capable of measuring optical power levels from -65 dBm to +12 dBm with a high degree of accuracy and sensitivity. The device is also equipped with an integrated tunable laser source, allowing users to accurately select the test wavelength, spectral bandwidth, and spectral shape of their transmitted light. It also contains an adjustable source power monitor, which can easily be configured and adjusted to monitor the source power of the transmitted light. KEYSIGHT 81680A includes an Optical Receiver Power Meter (ORPM) which allows for instantaneous power level measurements in the optical domain. The ORPM utilizes a reference calibration function, allowing users to accurately calibrate their source thanks to the mid-level power readings. Additionally, the device includes a polarized channel power meter which can be used to measure the polarization of the transmitted light. 81680A boasts a fairly high level of accuracy, stability and repeatability, making it ideal for a variety of optical measurements and research applications. Its integrated high-precision signal-processing features offer an excellent level of insight into the behavior of optical systems. Furthermore, its intuitive software user interface helps users quickly access and analyze optical signals, allowing for efficient testing and troubleshooting. HEWLETT-PACKARD 81680A is a comprehensive optical signal test system, capable of providing users with a comprehensive and reliable set of optical signal analysis and research capabilities.
