These passive coaxial switch matrices allow signals to be switched between 28 to 280 paths depending on the model. HP 85107B has been designed as a cost effective and reliable solution that is easy to deploy and maintain. AGILENT 85107B comes in three models; the 85107A which supports up to 28 paths; HEWLETT-PACKARD 85107B which supports up to 56 paths; and the 85107C which supports up to 280 paths. The mechanical switches are available in two types, SPST (Single Pole, Single Throw) and DPST (Double Pole, Single Throw), which allow the user to switch multiple channels and allow for signal multiplexing. All switch models are capable of isolation levels up to 40 dB for lower signal levels, 40 dB for medium signal levels, and 20 dB for higher signal levels. The switch matrix is also incorporated with an ESD protection circuit for signal levels up to 40 volts. KEYSIGHT 85107B contains two control planes, the common plane and the matrix plane that are used to provide external and relay control. The matrix plane provides a switchable matrix allowing signals to pass through up to 28, 56, or 280 paths. The common plane, in case of SPST switches, provides input ports with the DC blocking features and in case of the DPST switches it provides both input and return ports combined into one.
