AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT 8613A Microwave Network Analyzer is an electronic test equipment designed to measure the amplitude gain and frequency response of high-frequency components and systems. It is also used to measure the transmission and return loss as well as the electrical impedance of both active and passive radio frequency (RF) devices. This microwave network analyzer utilizes two receivers which can independently receive and measure the output of two separate ports of a two-port device. It is capable of continuously tuning over a range of between 0.1 and 12.4 GHz and can measure the amplitude gain, frequency response, transmission loss, return loss, and electrical impedance by using a variable signal generator to generate signals at a specified frequency. The output of the signal is split and sent to the two ports of the device being tested, and the frequency response is then measured to characterize the device. HP 8613A also features an S-parameter test set which supports up to 50 independent component measurements and allows for the generation of broadband pulse profiles when testing wide-bandwidth components. The analyzer is also equipped with an 8-inch (20.3 cm) color LCD display which provides a graphical display of the device under test. The display also features a built-in storage memory which allows for the capture and recall of up to 1000 measurements. Additionally, the 9522A electronic frequency scan option can be used to measure the frequency response of up to 31 components and generate a frequency-response curve. AGILENT 8613A Microwave Network Analyzer is a versatile, high-performance electronic test equipment perfect for testing high-frequency components and systems used in various industries. Its reliable performance and user-friendly interface make it a valuable tool in measuring the amplitude gain, frequency response, transmission loss, return loss, and electrical impedance of devices.
