This spectrum analyzer includes a wide-ranging optical parameter measurement capability that makes it an ideal tool for test, development, and evaluation of optical communication systems. HP 86140B is equipped with a wide range of features to aid in accurate testing. It is capable of measuring wavelength, power, and optical signal-to-noise ratio. It also has sampling speed up to 40 GHz and can measure modulated signals up to 40 Gbps. AGILENT 86140B also offers a built-in dual-wavelength comb source that is used to link the reference signals on the instrument to the fiber-based transmission system. HEWLETT-PACKARD 86140B also has a wide ranging spectrum resolution. It has an adjustable resolution of 0.025 pm & 0.050 pm, which is suitable for any test condition. It also features a high resolution achromatic optics design and an enhanced optical performance, which enable superior performance and accuracy in the measurement of optical signals. KEYSIGHT 86140B also comes with a wide range of accessories. It is available with various peripherals such as optical couplers, optical power meters, attenuators, optical filters, SFPs and QSFPs transceivers. The optional outputs are available in various formats such as AM-AM, AM-PM, PAM-4, NRZ and more.
