AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT 87304C is an electronic test equipment that provides a range of capabilities to help measure the performance of electrical components and systems. It is designed to utilise Advanced Technologies in order to improve the accuracy and capability of high-speed measurements.It has a bandwidth of 4-20 GHz for the Digital Down Converter (DDC).The DDC combines digital signal processing methods with hardware technologies such as I/Q up and down conversion, low power class AB output amplifiers, high performance analog-to-digital (ADC) converters. It offers a range of features and capabilities, including a 3.5 inch display that allows for instantaneous viewing of signals and measurements; fully integrated benches; real-time maximum accurate analysis; and automatic frequency switching. The instrument also supports multiple sampling and triggering modes. These include edge, pulse, and pulse width triggers, and sampling modes of single shot, repeating, and segmented memory. This enables it to quickly capture, analyze, and then store signals or perform functions such as spectrum and waveform measurements. It also supports FFT, phase-noise, and swept-frequency operations. Additionally, it has a fast peak amplitude detector which is able to detect weak signals quickly and accurately. HP 87304C incorporates a low-power Digital to Analogue converter (DAC) with six bits of resolution. This allows for an overall uncertainty of 1kHz in its performance and helps to reduce the amount of energy consumed when performing signal scanning or debugging. The Precision filtering and In-Channel Digitiser (ICD) feature of this system also helps to increase the accuracy of its measurements. It supports two independent sets of DC power supplies with voltage and current settings that can be changed conveniently while the instrument is in operation. HP/AGILENT 87304C also supports measurement and control of RF amplifiers and is enabling to capture and analyze RF spectrums in real-time. It is powered by a robust user interface that greatly simplifies measurement and offers high accuracy. Lastly, its calibration software helps reduce calibration time, ensuring reliable operation.
