HP E4440A is able to produce accurate output signals over a wide frequency range from 9 kHz up to 3 GHz, ideal for general purpose laboratory test and measurement use. AGILENT E 4440A features a built-in AM, FM, ØM and Phase Modulation capability as well as an external modulation input for added flexibility in testing. HP E 4440A uses a fast switching crystal based frequency synthesizer that provides excellent frequency and amplitude stability over time and temperature with low intermodulation distortion. The signal generator also includes a wide range of built-in signal types including (DC or pulsed) sine, square, triangle, and noise waveforms. The device includes 10 preset frequecy ranges and provides amplitude adjustment for each frequency range. It also features fast frequency switching capability at a rate of up to 500 microseconds per frequency change. KEYSIGHT E4440A has a number of convenient features in its user interface, including alphanumeric labeling of each signal type, fast cursors for setting amplitude and frequency , and other useful softkeys.
