Oscilloscope 2013 vintage.
AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT MSOX4104A is an advanced four-channel digital storage oscilloscope with a 2-GHz bandwidth, an 8-bit resolution, and a sampling rate of up to 2 GS/s. It has color-graded intensity grading capability that helps in seeing different aspects of displayed waveforms. The easy to use touchscreen makes it simple to navigate the menu's and adjust settings, while Windows-style contextual menus increase user productivity. It is ideal for wide range of digital designs, such as logic timing and signal integrity measurements, as well as embedded designs with high-speed data buses. HP MSOX4104A has four analog channels that are capable of operating simultaneously, with a real-time sample mode. This enables it to capture data at twice the sampling rate of conventional oscilloscopes. It has digital storage off-chip memory (DSOM) that can store up to 4 M of data, enabling the user to access more waveform data than with conventional analog scopes. AGILENT MSOX4104A also has a built-in arbitrary/function generator, plus the ability to generate and display simple waveforms with the Multifunction Generator. In addition, the oscilloscope comes with 8-bit vertical resolution, ensuring excellent waveform display. It also offers an innovative vertical zoom mode that allows zooming in to verify signal details on small waveform areas. And it has a zoom-in memory depth of 32K per channel in such a way that it can acquire deep memory views without losing the waveform required to observe anomalies. MSOX4104A has three "Real-Time" modes, which are a Peak Detect, an Average, and a History mode. These help to distinguish digital signals, measure time-based characteristics, and perceive in-depth analysis. There is also an Auto-Probe Compensator which is used to automatically match the oscilloscope's input stage and the configured compensation to the electric environment. KEYSIGHT MSOX4104A is equipped with an advanced triggering system, which includes the ability to capture signals from the bus or from individual signal pins. It has five types of triggers: Edge, PulseWidth, Level, Span, and Bus. Additionally, it supports equalizing for high-speed bussed data. Finally, HEWLETT-PACKARD MSOX4104A also has an impressive range of on-board applications, like the InfiniiScan option which is an analysis tool that helps users find noise sources in their circuits. It also comes with an integrated WaveGen which helps to quickly author and modify waveforms.
