This standalone equipment is capable of producing analog and digital signals in the frequency range of 20MHz to 6GHz. It is ideal for testing commercial wireless technologies such as 4G LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth, and ZigBee. The VSG includes a signal generator mainframe, 10MHz and 200MHz reference input ports, a built-in 50 ohm test port, and multiple measurement ports. It can generate a wide variety of clean and precise signals including basic modulated continuous wave (CW), frequency hopping, pulse and burst, broadband noise, and arbitrary waveforms. It supports 2 complex cable corrections and arbitrary waveform generation with up to 128 million points. Additionally, its pulse modulation feature supports pulse pattern selection, pulse period, pulse width, Ramp Up time, and Ramp Down time. HP N5182B also comes with an intuitive and versatile interface that allows for quick setup and easy operation.
