ANRITSU ME7834L is a microwave signal generator designed for use in testing various microwave transmission equipment and components. This high-performance signal generator offers excellent signal stability and high spurious-free performance, making it ideal for use in testing microwave devices for use in wireless communication, radio astronomy, and radar system applications. ME7834L is capable of generating continuous-wave (CW) signals from 9kHz to 30MHz and pulse signals from 1kHz to 30MHz. This signal generator uses a bipolar power transistor as a principal outgoing part to reach high powers and offers a wide range of output level settings up to an output power of +30 dBm. With its wide output range, ANRITSU ME7834L is capable of reliably testing low-level components, like mixers, high-power components, like amplifiers, and medium-power components, like filters. ME7834L also features a proprietary distortion-reducing digital signal generating algorithm to generate high precision CW signals with a very low noise level. This reduces the amount of unwanted distortion in signals used for testing when compared to signals generated by traditional signal generators. ANRITSU ME7834L also comes with built-in Frequency Modulation (FM) and Phase Modulation (PM) capabilities for testing more advanced components.
